Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2, 2026 · Last updated: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of YANCHAO’s parcel receiving, proxy purchasing, storage, inspection, consolidation, packing and international forwarding services. By creating an account, placing a proxy-purchase order, submitting a packing or shipping request, or paying for a service, you agree to these Terms and to the route-specific conditions shown in the official YANCHAO order flow.
1. Accounts and customer information
You must provide accurate contact, recipient, delivery and customs information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for checking order details before confirmation. We may request identity, value or customs evidence where required by law, a carrier or a customs authority.
2. Scope of the service
Depending on the order, YANCHAO may provide a China warehouse address, receive parcels, perform a basic external or content inspection, take photographs, purchase eligible goods as an agent, store items, consolidate parcels, repack them and arrange transportation through third-party carriers. A basic inspection is not authentication, laboratory testing, a guarantee of quality or a complete check for hidden defects.
The warehouse address is provided only for receiving eligible parcels. It must not be used as a residential address, registered office, legal domicile, banking address or tax address.
3. Proxy purchasing
Proxy purchases are subject to seller availability, price changes and compliance review. We may refuse or cancel orders involving counterfeit or infringing goods, prohibited goods, unsafe goods, misleading listings or sellers that cannot be reasonably verified. Seller-side returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to the seller’s rules and may involve domestic freight, handling or other non-refundable costs.
4. Restricted goods and declarations
You must accurately describe the contents, quantity, value, brand and intended use of every shipment. Prohibited or restricted goods may include weapons, explosives, narcotics, flammable materials, certain batteries, liquids, powders, food, medicines, plants, animal products, counterfeit goods and items restricted by the origin country, destination country, carrier or selected route. A product accepted into the warehouse is not automatically eligible for international transport.
We may inspect, refuse, return, remove or dispose of goods where reasonably necessary for safety or compliance. You are responsible for losses, penalties, returns and additional charges caused by inaccurate declarations, concealed goods or legal non-compliance.
5. Storage and unclaimed goods
The current free-storage period and any storage charges are shown in the official YANCHAO platform or order flow. Unless a different period is displayed for the relevant service, parcels may be stored free for up to 180 days from warehouse check-in. After the applicable period expires and reasonable notice has been given where practicable, unclaimed goods may be treated as abandoned and may be returned, disposed of or otherwise handled to recover outstanding costs, subject to applicable law.
6. Packing, weight and dimensions
We pack shipments using reasonable operational standards, but packaging choices cannot eliminate all transport risk. Shipping charges may be based on actual weight, volumetric weight, minimum billable weight, package dimensions, oversized-item rules or another method specified by the selected route. The greater applicable chargeable weight normally controls. The final warehouse measurement after packing is the basis for the payable charge, subject to carrier remeasurement.
7. Quotes, charges and taxes
Website calculators and pre-packing estimates are informational estimates. Final charges depend on packed measurements, destination, item type, route availability, fuel or remote-area surcharges, customs requirements and carrier adjustments. You must pay any valid difference before dispatch or when otherwise requested.
Taxes and customs treatment depend on the selected route. A route is duty-paid or tax-inclusive only when it is expressly described that way in the order flow. Otherwise, the recipient is responsible for import duties, VAT/GST, brokerage, inspection, storage and other destination charges.
8. Transit estimates and delivery
Processing and transit times are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates, unless a specific written guarantee is expressly provided. Estimates may begin after dispatch, flight departure or vessel sailing, as stated for the route. Customs inspections, weather, capacity, strikes, security events, public holidays, incorrect addresses and other events outside reasonable control may cause delay.
You must monitor tracking, remain contactable and cooperate with the carrier or customs authority. Costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery, refusal, missed collection or failure to supply requested documents may be charged to you.
9. Changes, cancellation and refunds
Cancellation availability depends on the stage of the order. Seller payments, completed purchasing work, inspection, storage, packing, domestic transport, payment processing and carrier bookings may be non-refundable once incurred. If a route becomes unavailable before dispatch, we may offer an alternative route, account credit or a refund of the unused eligible service amount. Refunds do not include costs already paid to third parties unless those amounts are recovered.
10. Loss, damage and claims
Report visible damage, shortage or loss as soon as possible and within the deadline shown for the selected route or protection plan. Keep the parcel, labels, internal and external packaging, delivery records and unpacking evidence. A claim may require purchase invoices, payment records, warehouse photographs, an unedited unpacking video and carrier documentation. Late or incomplete claims may be rejected where the event can no longer be verified.
Compensation is subject to the selected route, any optional protection purchased, eligible proven value, exclusions and applicable carrier or legal limits. It will not exceed the lower applicable limit and does not cover prohibited goods, inaccurate declarations, inadequate seller packaging, inherent defects, ordinary wear, customs seizure caused by the goods or declaration, or indirect and consequential loss, except where applicable law does not allow an exclusion.
11. Third-party services and responsibility
International transport, customs clearance, payment and last-mile delivery may be performed by third parties. Their operational rules may apply in addition to these Terms. YANCHAO remains responsible for obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, but is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control or for losses caused by customer instructions, unlawful goods, inaccurate information or a third party where applicable law permits that limitation.
12. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described separately in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, carrier, legal or operational changes. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. Continuing to use the service after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@yanchao.cn. For shipment-specific questions, include your YANCHAO account or order reference, but do not send passwords or payment-card details by email.
