Step 1: Sign Up and Get Your Chinese Warehouse Address

Head to geesenest.com and click Get Started to create your free account.

You can sign up using your email or directly log in with your Google account. (Tip: If you’re not receiving the verification code via email, use the Google login—it’s easier and more reliable.)

Once your account is active, go to My Account to find your personalized GeeseNest China warehouse address. This is the address you’ll use when purchasing from any Chinese shopping platform like Taobao or JD.com.

Step 2: Shopping on Taobao

We recommend using Taobao’s web version for easier navigation. Simply scan the QR code to log in via the app, or register with your mobile number. Once logged in, switch the site language to English (in the settings menu) for a better user experience.

Search for the item you want (e.g., “Nike sneakers” or “Thom Browne jacket”) and add it to your cart. Before checkout, enter the GeeseNest warehouse address you received earlier as your shipping destination.

Once you complete payment, your seller will ship the order to our warehouse. Now, it’s our turn to handle the rest.

Step 3: Register Your Package in the GeeseNest System

When your item has been shipped from the seller, log into your GeeseNest account and register the incoming package under “Packages.” This allows us to properly identify and manage your delivery when it arrives at our warehouse.

Make sure to include:

  • Your Taobao order number
  • Tracking number
  • Item description (e.g., “Adidas Hoodie”)
  • Estimated value

Step 4: Submit for Packaging & Choose a Shipping Line

Once your package is marked as “Arrived at Warehouse,” select it and proceed to the Packaging Request step.

Before we prepare your shipment, you’ll need to:

  1. Enter your final delivery address (your home address abroad)
  2. Select a shipping line based on your budget and desired delivery time
  3. Prepay your shipping costs

Step 5: Final Weight, Repacking & Dispatch

After you choose a shipping method, our warehouse team will professionally repack your item(s), calculate the actual shipping weight, and prepare your package for dispatch.

💡 Keep in mind: We charge based on either actual weight or dimensional weight (whichever is greater). Use our Shipping Calculator on the GeeseNest website to estimate costs in advance, but final billing is based on repacked measurements.

Once the packing is complete, we’ll arrange for the package to be picked up and transferred to our logistics hub for international shipping.

  • Air freight orders will first be transported to Hong Kong, where they are loaded onto flights by our logistics partners.
  • Sea freight orders are sent to port terminals for overseas shipping by cargo vessel.

Why is my tracking info not updating?
Tracking usually updates 3–5 days after dispatch. If it hasn’t updated yet, your package is likely still in transit to the logistics hub or customs clearance. This is normal.

We typically work with trusted partners like UPS, Speedaf, and DHL for final delivery. However, carriers are assigned based on your shipping route and country—specific selection is not available.

Should I buy insurance?
If your item has high value, we strongly recommend purchasing insurance. GeeseNest provides free insurance for packages valued under ¥500. For anything above, optional paid coverage is available.

What happens if my package is lost or held by customs?
If insured, we provide compensation up to the declared value (maximum capped by policy). For uninsured packages, we compensate at ¥50/kg plus the shipping cost. Customs holds are treated similarly, depending on your coverage.

Can I ship other products besides clothing?
Yes. GeeseNest supports forwarding of clothing, shoes, accessories, electronics, beauty products, and more—except for prohibited or restricted items.

What Does “Registering a Package” Mean?

After you make a purchase on platforms like Taobao, 1688, or Pinduoduo, you’ll need to submit the shipping information to GoNest once the seller has shipped the item. This step is what we refer to as registering the package.

To do this, all you need is the correct tracking number once the seller has dispatched your order. You can either copy the number directly from the order page or write it down manually.

Where to Get Your Tracking Number

Here’s where to find the tracking number on different Chinese platforms:

  • Taobao
    Go to the order page and check the logistics info; the tracking number will be listed there.
  • 1688
    From the order management page, click on “More” → “Logistics Info” to copy the number.
  • Pinduoduo
    In the order list, click “More” → “Logistics Info” to get the tracking number.
  • JD.com (京东)
    Go to “All Orders,” find your order, click into it, and locate the logistics info button among the three action buttons at the bottom.
  • Xianyu (闲鱼)
    Navigate to “Items You’ve Bought,” find the order, click into it, and select “More” → “Logistics Info” to find and copy the number.

How to Register a Package on GoNest

  1. Go to our website: GoNest or GeeseNest, and click “Get Started” to register or log in to your account.
  2. Once logged in, go to the “Packages” section from the navigation menu.

3.Paste the correct tracking number into the form. Fill in other details as needed.

4.Click Save to complete the registration.

Why Can’t You Find the Tracking Number?

Don’t worry—if you can’t find the tracking number on the platforms mentioned above, it’s likely that the seller hasn’t shipped your item yet. Typically, you’ll receive the tracking info within 24–48 hours after placing the order. So we recommend checking again after two days.

Why Can’t You See Delivery Info After Registration?

If the tracking info doesn’t show any updates on GoNest after you register:

  • It could be because you entered the wrong tracking number. Double-check and re-register the correct one.
  • Another possibility is an incorrect shipping address, which prevents us from signing for your package. In that case, contact our customer service to confirm your address.

Correct Tracking Number But No Warehouse Update?

If the tracking number is correct and the address is accurate, please be patient. There is often a delay between delivery and warehouse registration.

For example, if your parcel was signed for in the evening, it might not be processed until the following business day. During holidays, the delay may be longer. Rest assured—your parcel is already at the warehouse and will be updated soon.

Courier Says the Address Is Invalid or No One Answers?

If the courier calls you saying the address is incorrect or no one answered the phone:

  • Please ask them to deliver the package during our warehouse’s working hours: 9 AM to 6 PM.
  • Our staff are typically unable to answer calls due to heavy workload, but the warehouse is open and will receive the package.
  • If it’s a weekend or public holiday, the courier can attempt delivery again on the next business day.

Why Status Shows “Not Delivered” After Signed?

Your package is not lost. Couriers often pre-sign parcels if they cannot deliver them before the end of the day. These will typically be delivered to our warehouse on the next working day.

Once received, we will manually register the parcels under your account and update the status accordingly.

Many of our international customers may already have goods stored in other freight forwarders’ warehouses in China, such as CNfans, Joyagoo, or AllChinaBuy. So how can you forward those items to our GoNest warehouse? Below, we’ll walk you through the process and help you manage your shipments more effectively.

How to Begin the Transfer?

The first step is to obtain the address of the destination warehouse. If you wish to transfer your packages to the GoNest warehouse, you’ll need to get our warehouse address. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to gonest.cn and register an account. After registration, you will be redirected to your personal dashboard.
  2. In your personal dashboard, you will find the warehouse address, displayed exactly as shown in the reference image.

You can use this address when filling out recipient information at CNfans, Joyagoo, AllChinaBuy, or any other platforms that support domestic Chinese addresses.

What if you can’t complete the registration?
Try logging in with your Google account. This often makes the registration process much easier. If you encounter any other issues, feel free to contact us directly.

Forwarding Packages from CNfans

First, confirm that CNfans allows parcels to be forwarded to a different warehouse. If permitted, input the GoNest warehouse address as your new receiving address on their platform.

Next, contact CNfans customer service to request the forwarding of your packages to the new address and to settle the shipping fees.

Finally, notify our GoNest customer service team so we can be prepared to receive your packages properly.

Forwarding Packages from Joyagoo

Currently, we’re not fully certain whether Joyagoo supports Chinese address input. If you’re unable to add our warehouse address on their website or app, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact their customer support and express your need to forward packages to another warehouse. Wait for their confirmation.
  2. Provide them with our GoNest warehouse address as your new delivery destination. Simply copy and paste the address from our website.
  3. When they ship out your packages, pay the required shipping fee and request the tracking number for the delivery.
  4. Use this new tracking number to log into your GoNest account and enter the information in the package management section. If you have multiple numbers, register each one separately.
  5. Finally, notify our customer service team to confirm your forwarding details so we can be ready to receive the shipment.

Forwarding Packages from AllChinaBuy

From what we’ve heard, AllChinaBuy does support entering Chinese addresses, but they may not offer forwarding services directly. We recommend confirming this with their customer service team.

If they don’t provide online forwarding services, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact their customer service and inform them of your need to forward packages to a new warehouse. Wait for their response.
  2. Provide the GoNest warehouse address as your new delivery address.
  3. Wait for them to calculate the shipping fee, make payment, and ask them for the final tracking number of the shipment.
  4. Use this tracking number to log into your GoNest account and register it under the package management feature. For multiple packages, enter each number one by one.
  5. Finally, contact our team to confirm the status of your forwarded packages so we can prepare for their arrival.

If they offer the option to input forwarding information online, you only need to update your shipping address to our warehouse address and submit your forwarding request.
